As my students will definitely tell you, I do not like writing review papers. I’d rather focus efforts on new and interesting results, rather than what’s already published. Looking forward rather than looking back. However, life isn’t fair and you don’t always get what you want 🙂
I am pleased to announce that our first review paper from the DREAM Lab is now out, taking a detailed look at superomniphobic surfaces but only those that do not utilized PFAS. This is the first review of this topic specifically, and hopefully gives insights into what is possible when trying to repel low surface tension liquids (in the Cassie Baxter state) without the use of PFAS. A huge congratulations to Sadaf, Mohammad, Sudip and Carlo for bringing this all together with me.
